Newfoundland and Labrador has a diverse and beautiful landscape. We have immense cliffs, scenic coastlines, serene forests, and sandy beaches that support wildlife, recreation, and tourism. Join us in protecting these important areas at a day-long forum organized by CPAWS-NL and Nature NL.

 

Morning Session:
• Alison Woodley, CPAWS Conservation Director for Parks, will present a national and global perspective on parks and protected areas.
• Douglas Ballam, Nature NL Vice-president, will review the evolution of our provincial system
• A third speaker will be announced in the near future.

 

Afternoon Session:
•Panel discussions on terrestrial and marine protected areas, conservation and the role of the public.
