Jared Clarke is an avid birder and naturalist who lives in St. John’s. Having grown up on the northeast coast of the Newfoundland, Jared was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age – mostly by his grandfathers. Always a nature enthusiast, he became interested in birds while working for a local conservation group and never looked back. While his “day job” is that of a health researcher, he especially enjoys sharing his passion for birds with others and has led nature tours big and small across the province and further afield. Jared has also served on environmental advisory committees with both federal and provincial governments.
