We set up a "moth sheet" with a mercury vapor lamp, which emits light that attracts moths. We watched as moths landed on the sheet, allowing for close observation, photography, and identification. Other nocturnal insects, such as caddisflies, lacewings, and midges, were also observed. 📸 Drop a photo in the comment section of your super cool insect finds! A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers, and the Memorial University Botanical Garden for attending and allowing us to use their beautiful space.
