We’re excited to share that our annual ENGO Summ We’re excited to share that our annual ENGO Summit is returning this spring April 16-18, 2026  Previously known as the ENGO Conference, this 4th annual gathering returns as ENGO Summit NL, a name that better reflects our focus on collaboration and collective action.  This year our theme is “Forging Shared Paths” to highlight our commitment to building capacity and finding innovative solutions for the environment and our communities. We aim to bring together environmental non-governmental organizations from across the province, along with partners and others dedicated to conservation and community well-being, to:
Connect and strengthen relationships
Share knowledge and best practices  Explore new ways to work together on shared challenges

Calling all educators! February 2 is World Wetland Calling all educators! February 2 is World Wetlands Day, and we’re excited to share a lesson plan to help you incorporate wetland education into your classroom.  In partnership with EcoSchools Canada, we’ve developed this curriculum resource to support nature-based education. You can invite our team into your classroom to participate in hands-on wetland activities, or you’re welcome to deliver the lesson independently.  Educators across Canada can also access a wide range of nature-based lesson plans through EcoSchools Canada. Join us February 14th from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM for a Valentine’s Day Backyard Bird Count at Bowring Park!  We will be meeting at the Peter Pan statue next to the duck pond.
Fall in love with nature as we count as many birds as we can together. Explore the park with a guided group or explore the park solo.  💞 Open to all ages & experience levels

🔭 Binoculars available (bring your own if you have them!)  Bring a friend, a partner, or treat yourself to some quality time with nature this Valentine’s Day. 💌🌲  We will have an "outdoor" prize and hot chocolate on site come packed with a thermos!
