Joseph Banks was an early European naturalist that visited our province in 1766 on a historic voyage to collect and classifying its plants and animals. Visit the museum exhibit Natural Legacies – Joseph Banks: Launching Botanical Studies in Newfoundland and Labrador to learn more about how his work continue to shape scientific thought and efforts today and then join members of the Nature NL to practice your own observation and recording skills.
