Due to an unfavourable weather forecast and poor snow/ice conditions, the snowshoeing and tracking outing planned for Saturday February 9th is CANCELLED.

Nature NL Winter Outing: On Saturday, February 9th, join Allan Stein and Michael Collins on a snow shoeing (and animal track and tree and shrub bud identification) outing on forest trails near Windsor Lake. Meet at 10:00 at the parking area for the ski trails on Thorburn Road at Windsor Lake. We will walk 200-300 metres along Thorburn Road to the roadway by the dam and then head into the forest.
NOTE: the paths we will follow are NOT suitable for skiing but the roadway near Windsor Lake commonly is suitable if you would rather ski.
