The ENGO summit is intended to be a space in which people can come together to discuss, question, and collaborate. Mutual respect is an absolute necessity so all participants feel free to express their thoughts and contribute to the discussion. To ensure that all attendees feel welcome and heard, we have developed the following Code of Conduct. All participants and speakers must read and agree to this Code of Conduct prior to the conference. ENGO Summit attendees must treat all participants and speakers with respect. This includes, but is not limited to: · Behaving in a professional manner · Avoiding interrupting speakers. Unless otherwise specified by the presenter, questions should be saved for the end of the presentation/session · Ensuring everyone has a chance to share their thoughts. All participants should take care to avoid dominating the conversation · Refraining from using any language that would be considered offensive or discriminatory and ensure that any criticism or opposing viewpoints are delivered in a constructive manner. Ensure that you are critiquing ideas rather than individuals. Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Those who do not do so may be asked to leave the event and will not receive a refund of registration.
